Ketoconazole + Clobetasol + Neomycin Cream is used in short courses to treat severe inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis that are infected or likely to become infected.
This medication is a short-term treatment of burning and itching caused by moderate to severe skin diseases.
Ketoconazole is used to treat serious fungal or yeast infections, such as candidiasis (thrush, oral thrush), blastomycosis (Gilchrist's disease) etc. It works by killing the growth of fungus and yeast.
Clobetasol is a topical corticosteroid. It works by reducing skin inflammation (redness, swelling, itching, and irritation).
Neomycin helps in reducing bacterial infection. In addition, it may be used before any surgery to help prevent infection.
Indication:
Compound ketoconazole cream is mainly used for superficial skin fungal infections such as fungal infection of the hand, tinea of the feet, tinea of the body, and tinea cruris.

Ketoconazole Cream, 2% contains the broad-spectrum synthetic antifungal agent, ketoconazole 2%, formulated in an aqueous cream vehicle consisting of butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), cetyl alcohol, isopropyl myristate, polysorbate 60, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, purified water, sorbitan monostearate and stearyl alcohol.
Ketoconazole is cis-1-acetyl-4-[4-[[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-2-(1H-imidazol-1-ylmethyl)-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl]methoxy]phenyl] piperazine.
Indication:
Ketoconazole Cream, 2% is indicated for the topical treatment of tinea corporis, tinea cruris and tinea pedis caused by Trichophyton rubrum, T. mentagrophytes and Epidermophyton floccosum; in the treatment of tinea (pityriasis) versicolor caused by Malassezia furfur (Pityrosporum orbiculare); in the treatment of cutaneous candidiasis caused by Candida spp. and in the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis.

How to use ketoconazole topical
Use this medication on the skin only. Clean and thoroughly dry the area to be treated. Apply this medication to the affected skin, usually once or twice a day or as directed by your doctor. Dosage and length of treatment depends on the type of infection being treated. Do not apply this more often than prescribed. Your condition will not clear faster, but side effects may be increased.
Apply enough medication to cover the affected skin and some of the surrounding skin. After applying this medication, wash your hands. Do not wrap, cover or bandage the area unless directed to do so by your doctor.
Do not apply this medication in the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina. If this medication gets in the eyes (for example, when used to treat dandruff), rinse thoroughly with water.
Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. Remember to use it at the same time(s) each day.
Storage Situation: Stored in a cool and dry well-closed container. Keep away from moisture and strong light/heat.
Shelf Life: Two years when properly stored.
