Nystatin Tablet 500000IU
Nystatin Tablets are a polyene antifungal antibiotic drug used to treat fungal infections of the skin, mouth, vagina, and intestinal tract. It is a medication to which many molds and yeast infections are sensitive, including Candida. Cutaneous, vaginal, mucosal and esophageal Candida infections usually respond well to treatment with nystatin.
Nystatin is intended for the treatment of non-esophageal mucus membrane gastrointestinal candidiasis. It is also often used as prophylaxis in patients who are at risk for fungal infections, such as AIDS patients with a low CD4+ count and patients receiving chemotherapy.
Nystatin is an antimycotic polyene antibiotic obtained from Streptomyces noursei. Nystatin Tablets are provided for oral administration as coated tablets containing 500,000 units nystatin.

Indications: Nystatin Tablets are intended for the treatment of non-esophageal mucus membrane gastrointestinal candidiasis.
Use:
This medication is used to treat fungal infections in the stomach or intestines. Nystatin is an antifungal that works by stopping the growth of fungus. Nystatin tablets should not be used to treat fungal infections of the blood.
How to use:
Take this medication by mouth 3 times a day or as directed by your doctor. It may take from several days to several months to complete treatment. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. Remember to use it at the same times each day. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy.
Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow the infection to continue, resulting in a return of the infection.
Inform your doctor if your condition persists after several days of treatment or worsens at any time.
Nystatin Vaginal Tablet 100000IU
Nystatin is a vaginal tablet containing 100,000 IU of nystatin and can be used to treat vulvovaginal candidiasis (vaginal candidiasis). Before using this medicine, wash your hands with soap and water, then unwrap the vaginal tablet. Sit with one hand supporting your body weight and the other hand holding the applicator that has been fitted with a vaginal tablet. Both legs are bent in an open position to facilitate the use of vaginal tablets. Insert the sharp end of the vaginal tablet with the help of the applicator in the vaginal opening, then close the legs and hold until the vaginal tablet does not come out. Lastly, wash your hands again.
Composition: Each tablet contains 100 000 units nystatin.
Indications: For the relief of vaginal itching, burning and discharge associated with recurrent vaginal yeast infections (Vaginal Candidiasis).
Dose
100,000-200,000 IU daily, for up to 14 days or more.

Nystatin belongs to the group of medicines called antifungals. Vaginal nystatin is used to treat fungus infections of the vagina. Nystatin vaginal cream or tablets may also be used for other problems as determined by your doctor.
