1.Content | Active ingredient: Chloramphenicol 1.0% w/w. Other ingredients are Liquid Paraffin, Wool Fat and Yellow Soft Paraffin. Each tube contains 2g/3g/3.5g/5g of smooth yellow eye ointment |
2.Indications | Chloramphenicol eye ointment is for simple eye infections called "acute bacterial conjunctivitis". This is sometimes known as "red eye" because the white part of the affected eye(s) will be red and/or the eyelid(s) Will be red or swollen. There may also be a sticky discharge which can make the eye difficult to open in the morning, and the eye may feel 'gritty' or 'irritated'. |
3.Dosage | The Ointment is applied three to four times daily or even more often if necessary, into the lower conjunctival sac. |
4.Storage | a.Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. b.Sierile until opened. c.Do not store above 25° C. d.Do not use it after the expiry daie shown on the tube and carton. e.Discard any unused eye ointment after completing your 5 day course of treatment or return it to your pharmacist. |

3.Dosage | Eye Drops: 1 to 2 drops 4 times daily. Ear Drops: 2 to 3 drops 2 to 3 times daily. |
4.Storage | Keep the unopened bottles in the refrigerator, where the temperature stays between 2° C and 8° C and where children cannot reach it. The top shelf of the refrigerator at the back is a good place to store it. Keep your medicine in its original packaging until it is time to take it. |

2.Indications | Chloramphenicol is a broad-spectrum antibiotic solution that is used to treat an ear infection caused by sensitive bacteria, such as otitis externa, acute and chronic otitis media, etc. |
3.Dosage | Adults, Children and the Elderly Apply 3 - 4 drops into the affected ear 2 - 3 times daily for up to 1 week. Following administration of ear drops patients should be advised to lie down with the affected ear uppermost for a minimum of 10 minutes. After this time cotton wool may be inserted into the ear and normal activities resumed. Infants Only use if considered essential by the physician. |
