Other ingredients are Liquid Paraffin, Wool Fat and Yellow Soft Paraffin.
Each tube contains 2g/3g/3.5g/5g of smooth yellow eye ointment
2.IndicationsChloramphenicol eye ointment is for simple eye infections called "acute bacterial conjunctivitis". This is sometimes known as "red eye" because the white part of the affected eye(s) will be red and/or the eyelid(s) Will be red or swollen. There may also be a sticky discharge which can make the eye difficult to open in the morning, and the eye may feel 'gritty' or 'irritated'.
3.DosageThe Ointment is applied three to four times daily or even more often if necessary, into the lower conjunctival sac.
4.Storagea.Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.

3.DosageEye Drops: 1 to 2 drops 4 times daily.
Ear Drops: 2 to 3 drops 2 to 3 times daily.

3.DosageAdults, Children and the Elderly
Apply 3 - 4 drops into the affected ear 2 - 3 times daily for up to 1 week.

Following administration of ear drops patients should be advised to lie down with the affected ear uppermost for a minimum of 10 minutes. After this time cotton wool may be inserted into the ear and normal activities resumed.
