Suxamethonium Chloride Injection is used to stop your muscles moving during surgery or medical procedures.
Suxamethonium Chloride Injection is indicated for the following:
To be used in anaesthesia as a muscle relaxant to facilitate endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation and a wide range of surgical and obstetrics procedures.
It is also to be used to reduce the intensity of muscular contractions associated with pharmacologically or electrically - induced convulsions
Phentolamine Mesylate Injection
10mg : 1ml
Phentolamine Mesylate Injection is indicated for the prevention or control of hypertensive episodes that may occur in a patient with pheochromocytoma as a result of stress or manipulation during preoperative preparation and surgical excision.
Phentolamine Mesylate Injection is indicated for the prevention or treatment of dermal necrosis and sloughing following intravenous administration or extravasation of norepinephrine.
Phentolamine Mesylate Injection is also indicated for the diagnosis of pheochromocytoma by the phentolamine blocking test.
Calcium Gluconate Injection
10% 10ml
Calcium gluconate is used to treat conditions arising from calcium deficiencies such as hypocalcemic tetany, hypocalcemia related to hypoparathyroidism and hypocalcemia due to rapid growth or pregnancy. It is also used in the treatment of black widow spider bites to relieve muscle cramping and as an adjunct in the treatment of rickets, osteomalacia, lead colic and magnesium sulfate overdosage.
Calcium gluconate is a calcium salt used to treat or prevent a lack of calcium in the body. Other reasons for treatment with Calcium Gluconate Injection are:
high potassium levels in the blood
an overdose of magnesium sulfate i.e. Epsom salts
sudden severe stomach pain
during heart resuscitation to strengthen the heart muscle.
This medicine works by increasing the level of calcium in the blood or by binding to excess potassium or magnesium in the blood.
