Pharmacological Actions:
It has broad-spectrum antibiotic functional, its effect against gram-negative is
Superior to gram-positive. It is highly sensitive to most of enterbacteriaceae
Bacteria including salmonella typhi, salmonella paratyphi, E. Coli and salmonella.
It is also sensitive to gram-negative including pasteurella, Brucella, etc.
Indications:
Antibiotics. For curative treatment of bacterial infections of intestinal and respiratory
Tract in poultry and livestock and bacterial septicemia, parvovirus and red-skin disease
Caused by Aeromonas hydrophila, S. Enteritidis, etc.
Usage and Dosage:
Oral administration, ( Calculated by thiamphenicol) per dosage 5~10mg/kg o body
Weight of poultry or livestock Mixed with bait feed, 50g/150kg body weight of fish,
Continuous use for 3~4 days. For prevention, the dosage should be halved.
Adverse reaction:
(1) It has blood system toxicity.
(2) It has strong immunosuppressive action.
(3)Long-term oral administration may cause digestive function disorder, vitamin
Deficiency or symptoms of super infection.
(4)It has embryo toxicity, use on pregnant and lactation livestock with caution.
Precaution:
(1) Dosage on Livestock with renal insufficiency should be reduced or the medication
Should be prolonged.
(2) Animals in vaccination period or animals with serious immune defect are forbidden to use.
Withdrawal period: 28 days, withdrawal period of milk, 7 days, fish, 500 degree-day
