Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Chlorpheniramine is used to treat runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.

4.Indication:	Chlorphenamine Maleate Tablets BP 4 mg are indicated for symptomatic control of all allergic conditions responsive to antihistamines, including hay fever, vasomotor rhinitis, urticaria, angioneurotic oedema, food allergy, drug and serum reactions, insect bites. Also indicated for the symptomatic relief of itch associated with chickenpox.
5.Directions	Adults And children 12 years of age and over: one tablet every 4 to 6 hours. Children 4 to 12 years: ask a doctor. Children under 4 years: do not use.
