Bifonazole Cream

Bifonazole Cream is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot and fungal sweat rash. The active substance in Bifonazole Cream is bifonazole. Bifonazole belongs to a group of medicines called imidazoles and is an antifungal agent which fights the cause of fungal skin infections. BIFONAZOLE cream is a white opaque cream presented in a screw-cap tube.
Indication:
Bifonazole cream is a topical antifungal cream used to treat skin infections such as tinea, Athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm of the body and other skin infections caused by fungi and yeasts (eg. skin infections which may be associated with nappy-rash).
Precautions:
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Dosage: Adult: As 1% cream: Apply thinly onto affected areas once daily, preferably at night for 2-4 wk. For nail infections, longer treatment may be necessary; 40% urea paste may be applied initially to soften the nails.
Sulfur Ointment

Sulfur is used to treat many kinds of skin disorders. Sulfur ointment is used to treat acne, and is also used to treat seborrheic dermatitis and scabies. Sulfur may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Indication:
Sulphur Ointment is used for Bacterial infection, Inflammatory skin disorder, Acne, Parasite infection and other conditions. Sulphur Ointment may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Precautions:
Do not use sulfur on sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, or irritated skin or on open wounds.
Avoid abrasive, harsh, or drying soaps and cleansers while using sulfur ointment.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Dosage:
Acne | Adult: Apply a thin layer of ointment onto affected areas of the skin 1-3 times daily. Initiate therapy with 1 application daily and then gradually increase the frequency to avoid excessive drying. |
Scabies | Adult: Apply a thin layer of 10% ointment uniformly and massage gently into all skin surfaces from the neck to the toes (including the soles). Do not wash off till 24hr later. Repeat application for 2-3 successive days. 30 g of oint is sufficient for each application. Child: Smaller proportion of adult dose used. |
Dandruff |
Adult: Apply sulfur ointment to wet hair and massage vigorously into the scalp and then rinse thoroughly. Repeat application and rinse. Shampoo twice a wk. |
Directions:
a.use only as directed
b.apply a thin layer of sulfur topical lotion to the affected skin up to 3 times per day. Rub in gently.
c.children under 12, consult a doctor before use.
Warning: Sulfur ointment is not for ophthalmic use.
